Job Vacancy - Registered Mental Nurse (RMN)

We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Nurse to join our team. Previous experience within a nursing home setting and of working with dementia sufferers is preferred.

Contracted hours are a minimum of 36 hours per week and will usually be days.  

The Nurse reports to the Manager.

Note that we have many residents with physical problems and the candidate will be expected to assist the RGNs with their care. Duties include:

- drawing up and maintaining care plans for dementia sufferers
- administering medication
- changing dressings / wound care
- liaising with GPs and other professionals when necessary
- updating resident care plans and daily care reports
- supervising other care staff.

May be "In Charge" of the Home on evenings, nights and weekends.
